Old Dominick Distillery Takeover | October 3, 2026

On October 3, we kicked off the Rooster Run in Memphis with the Brewzle x Old Dominick Distillery Takeover, bringing the Brewzle community together for an afternoon at Old Dominick.

Throughout the day, guests had the chance to explore the distillery, hang out with the Brewzle crew, and experience Old Dominick in ways you normally don’t get to during a typical visit.

One of the highlights was getting a look behind the scenes at what Old Dominick has been working on. Guests could stop by the R&D Tasting Bar to sample experimental spirits straight from the production team, including pours that haven’t made their way to the public yet.

The Aging Loft Experience took guests upstairs to see where Old Dominick is aging whiskey on Front Street, with the opportunity to taste whiskey straight from the barrel. Downstairs, the Old Dominick cocktail team hosted interactive cocktail classes throughout the afternoon, sharing the history and techniques behind some of their drinks.

We also took over The Roost for a series of barrel picks. Instead of simply watching us select a barrel, guests were able to taste through four Brewzle-selected single barrels, choose their own favorite, and purchase and label a bottle of their selection to take home that day.

More than anything, the takeover was about getting the Brewzle community together. We spend a lot of time traveling around the country visiting distilleries, hunting whiskey, and sharing those experiences through a screen. Events like this give us a chance to actually experience it alongside the people who make Brewzle possible.

A huge thank you goes to Old Dominick for opening up the distillery to us and helping us put together such a unique experience. And, of course, thank you to everyone who bought a ticket, traveled to Memphis, and spent the afternoon with us.

The takeover may be over, but it was only the beginning of the Rooster Run.
